She appears draped in a red cape, a single rose in her hands, the fragile bloom of hope cradled against the weight of the world. In another breath, she wears a crown of thorned flowers, their beauty and pain entwined, as crimson rivers trace the contours of her face, her body. This work, Salvation, is a mediation on sacrifice and grace, on how suffering can become a kind of bloom, and even in pain there is something sacred to be found.
Through these images, I wanted to explore the duality of salvation, the tenderness and the wounds, the thorns and the petals, the cost and the quiet redemption that follows
